During the summer of 2014 I was a designer for the 2014 Video Music Awards. I worked under Art Director, Michelle Russell. Together we created the off air style for the campaign which encompassed taxi tops, print billboards, digital creative and branding of the Forum where the event was held.
The following are a series of billboards, both print and digital, that were released on Sunset Blvd in July and August 2014. The billboards focused on promotion of artists who were performing at the event.
In the week leading up to the 2014 Video Music Awards I created web banners and site takeovers to promote the show. The digital creative was featured on sites such as 8Tracks, AdTheorent, DEFY, Hulu, Pandora, Spotify, TMZ, Youtube and Yume.
The following photos are of merchandise I designed under the direction of Anthony Annandono. We produced cups, stickers, tank tops, t-shirts and sweatshirts for the event.
During the campaign Michelle and I were also in charge or designing posters, flyers and banners for affiliate companies such as Verizon, Taco Bell and Direct Tv.
